The People’s Scholar
My public scholarship is an attempt to bring the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of academia to all people in a way that is accessible, easy to understand, but is still well researched and theoretically sound. Although education is indicative of a healthy and well adjusted society, in the United States, it is constantly contested through law and public policy which then funnels into our education systems; both K-12 and colleges/universities.
I believe in the power of education to liberate one’s mind and build community with others.
Better education institutions are possible.
It starts with us.
